There are so many ways to serve at BRIDGE Church! Check out the volunteer opportunities below and prayerfully consider where you might be able to serve. Signup is easy and training is provided.
Host
Our Host Crew creates a welcoming and friendly environment as they greet and seat BRIDGE Church family and visitors. ALL Volunteers arrive 30 minutes before Sunday services when they are scheduled. Volunteers serve 1-2 services per month.

Little Learners (8-wks - Pre-K): Volunteers provide loving care and play with infants and toddlers. Willingness to change diapers is a must! Young Disciples (K-5)Volunteers encourage development of a relationship with Jesus in a fun and creative way through provided lessons.All volunteers arrive at 9:30am on the days they are scheduled, and the time commitment is 1-2 Sundays per month plus a 1-hour monthly meeting. Background checks are required for all BRIDGE Kids Volunteers.

The Safety Team provides a safe and welcoming environment during Sunday services. They provide emergency planning and preparedness and follow safety protocols and procedures.

The care team meets the needs of our community through organizing and delivering meals, cards, visits, and other acts of care and compassion. The time commitment is on an “as-needed” basis, but volunteers can expect to serve 1-2 flexible hours per week.

Social media: Communicate the love of Jesus to our community by creating graphics and schedule posts for church communications using Canva and social media publishing tools. Time commitment is 2 hours per week. Video Editors: Create the “quick clip” each week, a one-minute video with captions that captures a main point from the sermon for social media. May also do other small video editing projects.

The facilities team handles the maintenance, management, and upkeep of BRIDGE church's physical building including cleaning and other maintenance tasks.

Vocalists and instrumentalists lead the congregation in praise and worship music. Volunteers participate in a 2-hour rehearsal during the week and arrive at 8:30am on the Sundays they are serving to participate in worship run-through. We are responsible for learning worship music and performing at a level of excellence that brings glory to God. To join, schedule an audition with the worship music POC above.

Camera Tech: The camera tech makes our Sunday service broadcasts happen, so that those who are unable to physically attend church may still participate in the Sunday worship experience. We provide all the training in how to use the camera and set up the livestream. Camera techs serve once or two worship services per month and arrive about 30 minutes early when scheduled to ensure all equipment is properly set up and ready to go. ProPresenter Tech (The “Slide Team”): The ProPresenter tech is responsible for operating the computer and displaying graphics on the projection screens during worship services to include song lyrics, sermon notes, and other graphics. Comfort using a computer is helpful, but all training necessary to use our setup is provided. ProPresenter techs arrive for Sunday morning services at 8am to facilitate worship rehearsals. Audio Tech: Audio techs control the sound for all worship services and special events. This includes mixing all of the instruments and voices from the worship team, speaker’s microphones, and digital media.

The announcements team prepares and presents weekly announcements at the beginning of each Sunday service.
