We have invited several food trucks to come and sell food for adults at the event.

Is this a pet-friendly event?

This is a large scale event with lots of kids and animals from the petting zoo. While pets are allowed, please realize it may be a stressful environment for your pet. In accordance with the Town of Indian Head policies, pets are required to be on a leash at Village Green.

Will restrooms be open?

Yes, restrooms are located in the rear of the pavilion and are marked on your child’s Adventure Map.

Is this a religious/church event?

Yes and no. Of course, Easter is a religious holiday celebrated by Christians. The event sponsors include people of many different faiths, who have worked together to ensure that all activities are designed to be inclusive and ensure all feel welcome to participate.

Who is sponsoring the event?

The Town of Indian Head has collaborated with many businesses, organizations and residents of the local community. All have come together to keep the long time-honored tradition of an Easter Celebration for the Town. The event flyers and Adventure Map contain all the names of the sponsors. BRIDGE Church, which meets weekly in the Black Box Theater in Indian Head, provided the volunteers to coordinate/organize everyone’s contributions and also provided a cadre of volunteers for the event day.
